Today is the first day of our new website. While it is still very much a work in progress we thought you would enjoy a more interactive experience. All of us at the shop obsess about different yarns and patterns and now we can easily share all our WIPs (works in progress).
With snow on the ground and more on the way it's a perfect day to get cozy with a warm drink of choice and one, if not two, of your WIPs.
Enjoy the day.

Grey Garments
We have to thank the Mason-Dixon crew for reminding us how well knitting and comedy go together. If you have not yet seen their latest production do it now!

What's On Liz's Addi's
About five years ago I made this scarf using a pattern from Last Minute Knitted Gifts. While the pattern called for Rowan's Kid Silk Haze I opted to use angora. It was for a good friend. Now, my friend would like to give this scarf to her friends but would like a less costly version. So, putting down my latest obsession, crocheting, I decided to try the Kid Silk Haze. A week later I've finished four of the scarves, have two on needles and three more colors to knit up.
The pattern calls for a size ten needle but I've been using a 7 (as in shot above) due to that being the needle in my KnowKnits Bag when I sat down. But here's a shot of the beginning of one on a 10.
How could I resist these colors...
